Dear Moderator(s) , Admins and Bloggers . I have 2 questions to ask from you all , just from railfanning point of view .
Q1 : Why do ER Supercrowlers like KOAA - JAT Exp & HWH - DEE Doon Exp get fast electric locos where as ER Superfasts like HWH - JAT Himgiri Exp & HWH - DEE Upasana Exp get the comparatively less fast diesel locos ??
Q2 : Why dosen't SR fully electrify TVC - MAO - SRC Rail line before it's doubling ??
Thanks...

1. Super crawlers have lots of Slack time, in between for following reason:
a. Make up timing
b. Stoppage to offer pass to other trains for takeover/crossing
c. Loco Change
etc

Simple answers:
1) Crowlers have frequent halts which is why higher pick-up locos are required to attain certain speed in less time after evry halt. While SFs have less number of stops hence once attained some speed (although slowly), then it can be maintained for longer time.
2) Doubling is more important than electrification to decongest/ease the traffic.
