Can someone tell me the actual reason behind the slow operation of trains between Varanasi -Allahabad via madhosingh and bhadohi...just to cover a distance of 124 km trains take almost 3-4 hours..wats the reason ,aren't the tracks strong enough or is congested????please someone tell ...

abhi waha ki traffic pe depend karta hai. but sure speed up ho jata hai doubling hui ki. :D
ALD pe enter karne se pehle slack diya gaya hai. ALD has huge congestion and delays. However this route can be covered in 2 hours very easily
While moving from ALD To BSB side trains are detained for log duration near Manduadih because Varanasi doesn't haveenough pplatforms to accommodate passenger as well goods train coming from ALY side & moving towards GCY side...that's the biggest reason that most of the trains are consuming 4-5 hrs to cover this 124 km stretch...
