Lion Of Western Railways : Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express Skips Vishwamitri : Indian Railways
Seen in video is what I call Lion of Western Railways : 12009/Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express hauled by Vadodara [BRC] WAP-5 #30069 skips Vishwamitri at moderate speed moving towards its next scheduled halt of Vadodara Junction [BRC] a few minutes late of its schedule. Railfan Shreejay Parmar can be seen in action as well. Thanks to LP for that acknowledging honk. The reason behind calling this train Lion of WR is, though it is not the fastest train between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad but it is very popular among travelers, railfans and gets the highest patronage in its run.

Central- Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express travels 493 km in 6h 45m with 7 halts at an average speed of 73 km/hr.
12009 Shatabdi Express leaves Mumbai Central every day excluding Sundays at 06:25 hrs IST and reaches the Ahmedabad Junction at 13:10 hrs IST.
On return, the 12010 Shatabdi Express leaves Ahmedabad Junction every day excluding Sundays at 14:30 hrs IST and reaches the Mumbai Central at 21:35 hrs IST.
Being a Shatabdi it returns to its originating station Mumbai Central at the end of the day.
