Grievance Description : With all due respect sir i want to say that the cleaness and coach condition of 12331/32 Hwh Jat Himgiri exp is very pathetic.I have traveled in it many times from Bkp to Jat the coaches are very old,dirty toilets and most of the times there is no water in toilets which leads to misery of long distance passengers.There are cockroaches in the coaches and the conditions are very unhygenic.Sir i request you to ensure proper maintainence of rakes of Himgiri exp which is a prestegeous train running since 1979.Sir i also request you to allot LHB coaches to Himgiri as soon as possible as its a high revenue generating train which runs jampacked the whole year in all classes and the whole HWH JAT route is electrified and after giving LHB coaches it can be easily be speeded up by 2.5 hrs.I hope you will take good decision on this topic which will be for the walefare of the passengers.

Details : Complaint regarding maintenance/cleanliness of coaches in train No. 12331/12332 HWH Jammu Tawai Himgiri Exp. has been thoroughly examined. In this regard, following corrective measure has been taken. 1. Due to non-availability of complainant journey particulars i.e. dt. of journey, class etc. it is difficult to find out specific reasons for deficiencies of passenger amenities. However, it is intimated that the said train is covered under ‘on Board House Keeping Services’ scheme through outside Agency to ensure proper cleanliness en-route.Pest control treatment in coaches are done as per stipulated norms through outside agency. The agency have been imposed a penalty of Rs.1000/=. 2. Both the agency for cleaning activities and pest control treatment had been advised to improve the quality of activities. All officials involved with the maintenance of the trains has also been sensitized about good ambient in trains. 3. At present, there is no proposal for conversion of LHB coach and increa
