I have booked 2 AC ticket from NGP-BZA for date 20.03.2015 in premium train 22353. But the train started from source station late by 11 hrs and came to NGP 13 hrs late. So I have not travelled in that train and filed TDR, but they have rejected the TDR stating Miscellaneous as the reason. Can any body help me to get the refund.

Give the details like PNR, TDR regn number etc and write a detailed complaint to PG portal and send a mail to irctc. Also post your grievance on the FB page of Indian Railways. Resolution through the consumer courts would be a long drawn affair although you can use that as a last resort.

You won't get any refund rules clearly state until and unless premium is cancelled from source no refund will be available

Really feel grieved for the situation...Actually speaking the Cancellation of Tickets in Premium trains is applicable only in case the train is cancelled. Just refer to the attachment.

I would suggest file a Grievance in PG Portal for refund, we should not leave such cases the train was heavily delayed and need not forgo hefty amount spent for buying this premium tickets. You also approach consumer forum let IR be dragged in to doing the justice since such pathetic system for premium trains can't be accepted when you shelling out hefty amount.

Let IR know that if premium are also delayed for more than 3 hrs they should provide full refund.
