Sai Srinivas Karri 3 blog postsI am travelling from Kacheguda to New Delhi on 16th April 2015. I booked a 3AC ticket in karnataka sampark kranthi express - 12649 which is still in Waiting List. Are Wait Listed passengers allowed in the AC coach? What charges are deducted if I cancel this ticket when the chart is prepared (assuming the status didn't change from WAITING LIST) ? Ideally a wait listed ticket on cancellation should give full fare refund, isn't it?
1) No, Waitlisted passengers are not allowed.
2) Full refund minus 30/- clerkage charges minus service tax and bank charges.

If it is an E-Ticket it is automatically cancelled,
if PRS ticket we should cancel the ticket.
Waitlisted passengers are not allowed in the coach.
if ticket is in waiting list then cancellation charges for SL is 30 and for 3AC is 60(I dont know perfectly not more than 60)
