16 bogies of goods train derailed near Adarki on Pune - Kolhapur route today early morning. Passenger traffic on this route is badly affected. Waiting for more info from CR...
पुणे-कोल्हापूर रेल्वे मार्गावर आदर्कीजवळ आज (बुधवार) पहाटे पाचच्या सुमारास मालगाडीचे डबे घसरल्याने रेल्वे वाहतूक ठप्प झाली आहे. वाहतूक ठप्प झाल्याने पुणे आणि कोल्हापूर रेल्वे स्थानकांवर प्रवाशांना अडचणींना सामोरे जावे लागत आहे.
मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, आज पहाटे कोल्हापूरच्या दिशेने जात असलेल्या मालगाडीचे 16 डबे घसरले. त्यातील नऊ डबे दरीवजा खोल भागात पडले आहेत. या अपघातामुळे पूर्ण रूळ उखडला असल्याने वाहतूक पूर्णपणे ठप्प झाली आहे....

For MH or Pune, one new Maharashtra SK should run from Kolhapur via Pune should run. Karnataka SK should run in shorter route.
New MH SK can start from Kolhapur to Delhi with stoppages at Miraj, Satara, Karad, Pune, Daund, Manmad, Bhusaval in MH and further via Itarsi, Bhopal, Agra to Delhi. Win win for Karnataka passengers as well as for Pune passengers. With this, Pune can have a proper daily train to Delhi via MH.

If CR has complied the Lonand-Baramti line, than at this stage they can divert all trains by this new line.

Daund - Baramati - Lonand track is basically planned to use for Goods trains only. It will save loco reversal at Daund and Pune. It also reduce journey time. Also Pune traffic will reduce to some extend.
Yes Sir, you are absolutely right. MSK should serve whole Maharashtra. Instead of Bandra one should start from Kolhapur and other from Solapur.
Train from KOP can run via Satara, Pune, DD. Train from SUR should run via KWV, Latur, Akola, Nagpur covering that part of MH.
