But Karmali lacks facilities for maintenance and also Madgaon being a junction of Londa-Vasco SWR line,decent connections to Hubli or even Vasco is available.Also tourist destinations in Goa are spread all out,not centered on Panjim (the Capital) but dispersed in South and North Goa.Also Margao is very near to NH 17 so offers better road connectivity
