#gatimaan logic : speed increase by 6.66 % but extra fare increase by 25 % ......... what a mathematical calculation by indian railway .
also the tentative tt here shows jrney time to be 1.45 hrs whereas i saw any shatabdi on this route takes approx 2 hrs...so with160 kmph...whats so special about this?
Its just the beginning. A test. The extra fare charged could be to mitigate the costs involved in upgrading the MPS. It is actually very naive to compare the speed increase percentage and fare increase percentage. A little more in depth understanding would have been appreciated.
