I wanted to know from members while booking through IRCTC on how to get seats next to each other for a group of 3 passengers where destination of one of the passengers is different from the other two.
1. Passenger 1 &2 are travelling from A to B

Berth next to each other can not guaranteed even on PRS counter.
We can only opt for same coach choice. rest is done by system. Even booking all passenger together can not assure all seats next to next. this depends purely on system allotment and availability.
