NON-STOP HIGH SPEED ACTION : Derailment Affected SECUNDERABAD DURONTO With White Horse LGD WAP-7
Indian Railways : Seen in video is 12286/Hazrat Nizamuddin - Secunderabad Duronto Express hauled by Lallaguda [LGD] WAP-7 #30276. Due to a derailment somewhere between Jhansi and Bhopal all North bound trains were affected. Owing to this delay caused by derailment 12285 came late and thus 12286/Hazrat Nizamuddin - Secunderabad Duronto Express was rescheduled and left Hazrat Nizamuddin more than 19 hours late from its scheduled time with awesome looking white unicorn Lallaguda [LGD] WAP-7. Railfan Anirudh Jolly can be seen in action.

Express is a category of long-distance non stop trains run by the Indian Railways. These trains do not have any ticketing stops between the origin and the destination hence this title. "Duronto" means "restless" in Bengali language. These trains' coaches have characteristic yellow-green livery.
WAP 7 is a moderate speed high power locomotive developed by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works by modifying the gear ratio of existing WAG 9 class. It is capable of hauling trains at speeds ranging between 140 and 180 kilometres per hour (87 and 112 mph) and is now largely used by Northern Railways (NR), South Central Railways (SCR), Southern Railways (SR), Eastern Railways (ER), South East Central Railway (SECR), Central Railways (CR), West Central Railways (WCR). The WAP-7 is actually a modified version of the WAG 9 freight locomotive with modified gear ratios and is set to replace the fleet of WAP 4's, the most widely used passenger locomotive today. The process will be a very slow one however, with WAP 4s still being produced and the production of WAP-7's increasing at a slow pace.
The current locomotive sheds which house this locomotive are:
Ghaziabad [GZB]
Lallaguda [LGD]
Ajni [AJNI]
Howrah [HWH]
Bhilai [BIA]
Royapuram [RPM]
Tughlakabad [TKD]
12286/Hazrat Nizamuddin - Secunderabad Duronto Express travels 1659 km in 22h 15m with 4 technical halts at an average speed of 74 km/hr and belongs to South Central Railways [SCR].
