Pune-Daund-Manmad Electrification Work is in progress. Project (earlier) was to be completed by Dec-2013. This date later got extended to 02-Oct-2015 and now, due to land acquisition problems (required for TSS), the date is further delayed. The project may be completed by Mar-2016 and we may see WAPx/WAMx/WAGx locos on Pune-DD-MMR Section from Apr-2016 onward. As of now, AC Locos are coming to Pune from Panvel-Karjat-Lonavala Side and from VasaiRoad-Kalyan-Karjat-Lonavala side (and very rarely from CSTM-KYN side)!
