Isn't it like .. There are different tracks for locals and normal superfast.. Actually I have a bit low knowledge of this route.. So I guess I have heard that.. There are multiple lines regarding the status of trains. Different tracks for locals and normal trains.
There are separate tracks for slow and fast locals. But the express trains run on the fast tracks only. So there are no separate tracks for express and fast locals from Kurla to CSTM.
Actual problem is pf availability at CST at that time pf18 was blocked by Nagpur Duronto.

No, Vidarbha Express is still the first choice from Gondia Nagpur Wardha regions. And it is still a priority train.
