there is number of trains on it agreed, but it is equivalent to trains on Patna - Mgs route or Kanpur - Delhi.

Yes, the Mughalsarai - Allahabad Section has outlived it's capacity under North Central Railway since dozens of trains use this stretch 24/7 and 365 days a year. This is the reason that IR is laying a 3rd track + #EDFC tracks. So by 2019 we will have 2+1+2=5 Tracks between MGS and ALD where 3 tracks will solely be used by passenger trains & the other 2 by freight trains :-)
