A rail engine derailed at Pugalur railway station on Wednesday evening. According to sources, the derailment occurred when it was proceeding to Tiruchi from Erode.

Now the derailments are seen very frequently. After the major mishap at Harda, we have seen a Goods Train Derailment at Khurda Road Div near Naraj yesterday and today this derailment of Loco.
