Maybe the new 9000 HP passenger locos (that IR is planning to procure) will be the replacement for WAP5/7.

As per the News(/blog/post/1513533 which is news/post/229393) the Last Conventional Loco will be rolled out by CLW in Nov this year.After that ONLY IGBT 3 Phasers will be produced.
