Rfchannel121~ 5279 blog postsMet with survivors of Kamayani express accident, their coach was dangling so they escaped through vestibule, minor injuries. But they did say the death toll is above 500, the corpses are trapped in the wet mud and some of them floated to nearby fields. There was too much water, Janta express was informed and driver did apply brakes nearby bridge, but it was too late and due to weight of the rake, the foundation washed away and the train fell from tracks. The figures broadcasted are not at all real.

I think in this day and age it is almost impossible to fudge on death toll by the government. Media is there everywhere. I think people should stop all these conspiracy theories.
I anticipated this. I have a doubt that the death toll can't be ONLY 50 as seen from the pictures. It's a severe accident this toll will at least 700 to 800.

Don't trust media blindly, after all they also governed by same people who govern us.
Corruption also caught up pace with Today's age and media can be easily manipulated. At least after scams like vyapam in MP, its hard to believe anyone.
Both the trains are popular and were modestly occupied, with GS coaches overcrowded. Many corpses are swollen up due to drowning and not recognisable. Passenger details of GS pax not available with railway.
