If i board a board in train with unreserved SF ticket ; say Ambala to lucknow via SRE in sleeper , how much fine to be paid by me .
1 - Only fare difference between sleeper and unreserved SF ticket .
2 - RS 250 penalty and then fare difference between sleeper and unreserved SF ticket .

1. Berth Avl: No fine but only Fare difference!!
2. Berth NA: Either alight or pay Fine+Fare Diff (No Tatkal)!!
TTE must hav asked extra pocket money (nowdays TTE tag as if u would have tried tatkal, fare difference would hav been tatkal also...& hence pay that extra tatkal fare as their pocket money)!!

Yes TTE said difference of tatkal sleeper fare and UR sf ticket and 250 fine .
Proper reply for this line: If i hav to pay tatkal, wouldnt have choosed this train which hav lots of availability...& if u are assigned for tatkal collection, kindly mention the same on slip!!
But all this works when many seat remain available or u r left with energy to sustain journey against odds!!!
If its night & overnight journey, u may end escaping all logics but a berth to straighten ur backnbobe!!!

If seat avbl then you only Fare difference needed
If seat not avbl then Deboard at next halt or pay fare difference and 250 panalty
There is no rule to give ck fare difference in SL if some TTE asked for it then Ask him to give receipt of all money paid by u
