I had booked three tickets in 12002 Bhopal shatabdi express for 25th October 2015 in Chair car.The number of tickets available was about 500.Still one ticket was booked in different coach( two in C4 and one in C14).Can someone tell me the reason.( see blog entry #1563713.)
Was it an ETicket ? if means this can happen - if it was an PRS , u can request the same to the clerk to allot on a same coach...also when 500 seats vacant means , it can be like 40 - 50 single seats in each coach . for ex , 3 and 4 would have booked already and 5 would be left...like wise..
u must have given some coach allotment, and only 2 seat must be available in C4, so 3rd one is allotted to some other coach!
I did not mention any coach allotment. I just simply booked three tickets without any preference.
