THIS QUESTION MAY APPEAR SILLY FOR RAILWAY PEOPLE, BUT as a common man, i have this doubt.....pls reply
is there any restriction in selecting boarding station? or any station from the drop down menu in boarding station (in reservation page from irctc website) can be selected? i'm asking this because for 15930/Dibrugarh - Chennai Egmore Weekly Express, if a person is reserving from dibrugarh to chennai, the boarding station list displays all stations before chennai. Nellore is the last stop before chennai for this train, and the choice provided is till Nellore.
