Am planned a short RF trip to Payyannur which is 33kms away from Kannur. Am about to take 1mail to Payyannur and I was arrived Kannur at 9:45. That time all 3 platforms were occupied by CLT-CAN Pass,YPR-CAN Express and MAQ-NCJ Ernad. Soon they shunted the rakes of passenger and YPR-CAN to yard.

22114 doesn't undergo refueling at Kannur. This slot along with many other KR slots is handled by MAJN depo. Anyway, dunno what's up with the SM at Kannur these days. Mainline Platform 3 being used to park rakes of Passenger/SBC and up trains being unnecessarily routed to Platform 2, thereby wasting 10-15 minutes has become common now.
22655,22657&22149 doesn't have fuel filling at CAN and this one also.. But today it took diesel from CAN.. Dono the reason..
Many times noticed like these. Either Parasu was waiting at outer or the weekly trains behind that will be waiting at outer, even though platform is vacant at 2 or 3. I think the trains towards Konkan are coming only at pf one.
Now many times 16527 arrives in platform 2 forcing the people to carry the luggage from 2 to one. The footover bridge is already congested. Passenger train can go to two and 16527 can go to 1.

Also the train 16527 can arrive at 8:25 like earlier, so that they can clear off the platform easily. Now this train is crawling behind passenger.
