Dadar/Pathankot Express - ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਾ

Any scope/plans for superfast trains between Pune and Bangalore (like proposed Pune Hyd Shatabdi)?
This will definitely generate lot of revenue for railways. Currently volvo buses take only 14-15 hours whereas railways take min 20 hours for this journey. Already there are at least 40 volvos plying on this route daily which transport at least (30*40 = 1200) 1200 passangers daily through luxury travel.
So even a full AC train if started on this route will be surely a big hit!

heard that there was a demand for such a train between these stations but unfortunately this was not considered in this budget.
Is there any opposition from bus lobby? or is this due to lack of political will?
What's the status or future plan of dharwar-belgaum link?
