My father a sr.citizen holding a confirmed 3a tkt booked 2 months ago. Now my mother aged 57 desires to travel along with him, but only Sleeper tkt available(no seat available in Sr.quota). Can she buy CNF SL tkt and travel with my father in 3A. Is it allowed ? Kindly advise whether she can travel like this. regds,

Not a good suggestion, pl reply if possible can TTE upgrade to 3a if available else she will travel in SL
Yes TTE can upgrade if avbl, but need to pay d diff. in fare and get receipt
