Irrespective of the time, how can one predict cases one is not sure of ?
If we predict early or for that matter at any time just for the sake of predicting or just for the sake of predicting early, it would be a fake prediction.

How can you predict/ advise when you are not sure yourself ?
That would be misleading others.

Your point too is somewhat right but if we give incentives for early predictions, I think the no of SPAM predictions would go up.
I have observed there are already some people predicting here at IRI just for the sake of predicting or/and just to increase prediction numbers.

I think the current totally democratic and free (nonrestrictive) prediction system here at IRI is a winner until we actually find other suggestions which can bring about a balance of early predictions and honest predictions.
.
Whatever said and done, I strongly believe Honest but late predictions are better than misguiding predictions just to be early.
