What a Heck and Mess by NFR & LMG Division.

Today 29-09-2015 one year completed that the last passenger train left Silchar Station but till now NFR is not at all confident of running passenger train & it's work spending more than Rs 5000 crores & wasting 18 years.

depends on weather & nature. If this is the quality & moral of such high ranking officials of Indian Railway then how can we expect something better from their down line. Sitting at that position he should have shown his confidence he gathered during his work life (as he is known to be having good track record) & used it for the betterment of railway. Another factor is that all GM of NFR are very old & in the verge of retirement, so they lack in their dynamic decision capabilities. Indian Railway board should appoint young intelligent & dynamic personality in those position rather than giving chair to old persons to show tribute. Their inability makes common people to suffer.
Not a single GM dare to give any deadline to finish the project, that is biggest difference between Indian Railway & other railway of the world. NO DEADLINE NO RISK NO TENSION OF LOSING JOB only sarkari naukri...pension benefit...etc...
Where is BJP now on March they were shouting in Silchar Station like anything & now they are also in the mood of taking political mileage from this project by opening line before election. If they had opened the line before DURGA PUJA then there would have been positive effect in election but if they take it before election then it will have negative effect only

If you ask anyone in construction wing of NFR based in Silchar you get one reply everything is ready its only depends on higher authority to decide. But strange enough every time higher authority is questioned by media person they always find some or other problem to defer the running of passenger train without giving any deadline also. Either dirty politics is going on or road transport lobby is playing their role to delay it.
