Speed counts. One more glaring example. Mumbai -Howrah (via Nagpur) with a distance of 1968 kms is covered in 30.30 hrs in Gitanjali Express @ Avg. Speed of 64 km / hr. Ahmedabad - Howrah (via Nagpur) with a distance of 2087 kms. is covered in 37.35 hrs. in Howrah Express @ Avg Speed of 55 kms / hr. Distance is more by only 119 kms and the time taking is more by 7 hrs. Even if duronto is not introduced between Ahmedabad - Howrah but need of the hour is how to make it at par level with Gitanjali Express. Reduction of 6-7 hrs in travel time is possible if avg speed is just increased to 65 km / hr which is the normal amongst the fast trains. WR officials please look into this aspect urgently.

It takes more time because HWH - ADI exp runs on single track after Jalgaon (JL) while Geetanjali is having double track in its complete journey. Obviously it is hard to maintain trafic on single line so it will take more time.
dear sir,
for utter pradesh donot have any duronto or garib rath trains- PRITHVI
