This train TT is designed in such a way that it will act as intercity between HZME & DHN.
will provide overnight connectivity to kolkata from HZME and Grand chord section of jharkhand .
also it will connect Digha with Jharkhand and WB.

Most of the time 12308 Jodhpur Express and 11447 shaktipunj express are late, hence reaching Kolkata in morning becomes very difficult, therefore this train will be very helpful.
Digha was chosen because
1. No or poor connectivity with Jharkhand/WB
2. also very less train for east mednipur region from DHN/ASN. those who want to visit haldia can get down at Tamluk

HWH DIGHA sec trains run almost empty in reserved class.. better to terminate at HWH with slip coach for DIGHA if its reqd...
