Finally safety inspection will happen today. Never realized that so many people would be involved.As per this news report 300 experts would be there to assist.
The much-awaited safety inspection of newly converted Pollachi-Palakkad broad gauge rail route would be conducted on Monday and Tuesday under the supervision of Railway Safety Commissioner Satish Kumar Mittal

train with eight coaches would carry the experts from Palakkad on Monday as the first part of safety inspection. On the second day, a speed trial would be conducted with a five coach train with attached inspection car and track recording car.
