In the meanwhile, sanding was being done to prevent wheel slipping.
Why is lp inside CAB-1 what is he doing inside.. I guess.. CAB-2 is the face of the loco in the present scenario.

This was the ALP who was checking something.
On that day, the ALP's of each and every down train were going in to the rear cab to check something.
Don't know whether this is a routine procedure.
