Indian Railways : Thundering green+orange Ernakulam Alco twins at 105 kmph!
The new twin combo on IR, ERS Alco twins putting up a nice speed show with the 20 minutes late running Gandhidham Nagercoil Express. The Green+Orange mu'd WDM-3A combo was used with this train for four consecutive weeks before SR decided to give a break to this pair. It is always a pleasure to capture the unique Green parrot livery of ERS shed. Southern Railway (TVC division) have made a good decison of providing twin Alcos for 3 of the long distance trains running to Gujrat/Rajasthan via Konkan Railway. The trains are GIMB NCJ GIMB Express, OKHA ERS OKHA Express and BKN KCVL BKN Express respectively.
