Please inform me how is the varanasi to Gaya trains. I was told even in reservation compartment one can't travel i.e. all will enter and occupying reserved seat. I visited long back and ther was no problem at all. I am from south end(Tamilandu)

pl do not compare tirupati with benares as one is a small temple town based on temple and no private houses in tirupati, whereas varanasi is totally thickly populated city and have very narrow lanes. tirupati is a hill town and benares is not.
about the roads, i agree with vishwanathji that nh2 is far better - in fact, in my trip, we missed the cut to go inside benares simply because it goes out of the city as a by-pass. some roads are bad in up but to...
