yes, correct. That's what I meant. You can take your private belongings - rum, whisky, whatever - in your baggage for your relatives, and drink in your own privacy. Railways has nothing to do with it. Drinking in public place is an offence. But, blogger #1's question was not about drinking inside train, but about taking rum for his grandpa. It is perfectly legal and ok, to take rum in your baggage for your grandpa.
