Double-headed Rajdhani on Vasai Creek bridge - this is scanned from a postcard personally gifted to me by the then CPRO of WR. This was released on the occasion of the maiden run of the double-headed Rajdhani (was also the first air-braked train on IR).

Tab ka schedule itna mast nahin tha (in 1981), since there were still some single line sections between Nagda and Kota. Dep. BCT - 16.00, Arr. NDLS - 8.50 next morning, max speed 120 kmph. So commercial speed - 82.22kmph. But in 1991, the train was speeded-up by 1/2 hour, since a WAP1 was being employed between Ratlam and New Delhi and the MPS went upto 130 kmph. in that section. So commercial speed - 84.73kmph.
