The Indian Railways have a very unfair system of allotting berths: I booked on Mahanagri express to travel from CSTM to BSB in 2 AC. I requested for Lower berth (since I am 59 years). The Railways allotted me a Side Upper berth ! What wisdom!
IRCTC should allow the passenger to know, before payment, what kind of berth is being allotted. If only side berths are available then passenger can choose a different class. Very unfiar and stupid logic of IRCTC.
