The 125 kms long section between Sitarampur and Shaktigarh (in West Bengal) has quadruple railway tracks (i.e. four parallel tracks). I want to know which other sections in Indian Railways (at least 50 kms stretch) also have quadruple tracks and what is their MPS? Pl. count the number of parallel lines for MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS ONLY- exclude those tracks which are reserved only for suburban/MEMU trains. I searched a lot but couldn't find this information anywhere.

The 4 tracks b/w Sitarampur Shaktigarh is due to the presence of too many collieries around & transporting the coals to Budge Budge,KoPT,Haldia & various ports in Odisha.Passenger traffic density is not that much
Whatever be the reason, but one can enjoy many hi-speed parallel actions in Sitarampur Shaktigarh stretch and that too at a MPS of 130 kmph on regular basis. And trains rarely get delayed in this region- their punctual movement is very easy.
There is no reserved tracks for suburban trains. All the 4 lines are common for M/E and Suburban locals. Both runs on the same line. Only the 5th and 6th line is reserved for M/E
But, in SKG-STN section, BWN-ASN MEMUs also run, which is a local train.
You are right Sir but all those four tracks are also used for mail/express trains. No track is reserved only for MEMU's.
