Why should Railways discriminate between e ticket and paper tickets purchased from counters, if the same remains waiting on preparation of chart? Like e tickets, such paper tickets purchased from PRS should also get automatically cancelled after preparation of chart if the ticket is not upgraded to confirm/RAC status.Passengers holding such tickets may be allowed to get refund from any PRS counter or station counters. Some counter can also be made at the platform itself for granting refund to such passengers.If some passenger wants to take a general ticket and refund of only difference amount, that should also be allowed from same counter so that he is not required to go to 2 different counters and join queue.Railway may also consider having a separate general coach for such passengers holding a general ticket (which may be of a different colour) to give them seats.

found traveling with a waitlisted ticket,cancelled automatically, should be considered without ticket and treated accordingly.
This will give relief to passengers with confirmed /RAC tickets and there will no overcrowding in reserved compartments.
