(SAN) manufactured 400hp Diesel - Hydraulic Locomotive NDM6 #605 "Buccaneer" (hydro-dynamic transmission) of Tindharia (TDH) DLS leading the empty rake of 02541 New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling Narrow Gauge (NG) Special Train towards New Jalpaiguri NG platform for its onward journey to Darjeeling.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) a.k.a. "Darjeeling Toy Train" is a UNESCO Heritage. The 87 km NG line starts from Himalayan foothills New Jalpaiguri - Siliguri and climbs to the Hill Station DARJEELING.
