I think ur think about skip is wrong
Skip means train goes to X station but don't halt there just like TVC rajdhani pass from Surat but didn't halt there this one skip and as ur point Bandra Patna goes via Udhna it is not Surat skip but it was Surat Bypass
Same for LKo some train Bypass LKO using Sitapur GD line not LKO skip
