The one on the left is a Dynamic Track stabilizer. It is used to stabilize tracks by making them settle properly into the ballast around the track. This machine creates horizontal vibrations on the tracks and pushes them down at the same time. That way, the ballast ( stones) around the sleepers move about and the track and sleepers 'sink into' the ballast and thus the track is more stable.
So are they 2 different machines...Left one and Right one...I thought they are one!!
