Rain in Tamilnadu starts again hitting heavily Northern zones such as Chennai, Vellore, Kanchi, Tiruvallur, Cudallore, thiruvanaamalai, villupuram, pondi, etc, Main major routes in Chennai city limit is flooded and traffic is crawling slowly. Upto now, as for chennai, MSB-AJJ EMU'S are announced to depart from MAS! (Source: Tamil news channel)
Update for 02-12-15: All trains bound for southern TN from MS station are OFFICALY CANCELLED! for today. Due to Historic heavy rainfall of 49cm at Tambaram rail tracks are heavily damaged and its unlikely that MS trains services will resume any soon! All trains bound towards MAS are affected and many MAS departures are canceled!! Chennai airport MAA flights both arriving and departing ate cancelled till today night due to...

As said, ALL trains towards MAS and MS are cancelled till DEC 6!!! All flight at MAA International airport are canncelled r diverted to AJJ INS Rajali base!!! For now Don't even think about Getting to Chennai!! As much as possible people are slowly moving from Chennai, via Buses from CMBT Chennau Bus terminus... Still now, those 3 major roads NH45 GST Road, ECR and OMR are blocked. Even Chennai OUTER RING ROAD has 2FT water and traffic is blocked. Only 2 wheeler are allowed!!! Help us #Indiawithtamilnadu and #chennaifloods twitter handles, Rain is often showing but Dec 01 and Dec 02 was never before levels! Chennai hasn't seen rain in 100 years!! Now and then Rain is showering still at some places.... Special trains from MSB-SBC are really helping much!!! Continue this for coming days and pls properly announce abt that on media #SR,
