Not abandoned ! Goods train connecting ER to SER & vice versa bypassing Howrah Jn. uses this route ! Besides, Sealdah-Puri Duranto Express & Shalimar-Patna Duranto uses this route (Has no stoppage in this section btw) ! Don't know when the passenger service will introduce in this route..Its a highly demanded issue that will help many people in that region. :)
