1. In this year , There is no chance to extend neither Kanchanjungha nor Sampark kranti as pit line is not completed ., but both will extend before Election .
2. To reduce the passenger pressure from 55615/6 , railway is thinking to extend 15469/70 AlipurDuar Jn - Lumding Express upto silchar .

: 1. as now ARP is 4 months , so notification of extension generally announced before 4 months , otherwise the people of extension part may no chance to get confirm ticket , Extension of Avadh Assam Express is notified already where the train will from april , 2016 ..
so, i think it is partially difficult to extension of both before April , 2016 . if extended in january then it is essay to get ticket b/w Silchar & Guwahati , but it is difficult to get ticket from silchar to those stations which are after Guwahati .
but railway can extend Kanchankanya to add extra sleeper & AC coaches , only that will help the people of barak vally .
2.. Priviously they said that CACHAR will start b/w SILCHAR & ALIPURDUAR , which will run b/w silchar & guwahati at night .
but if the news is true - extension of 15469/70 , then i think , currently it is not possible to run train at night in hill sec ..
