I wonder how tatkal tickets get exhausted within a minute of booking opening. Is there any software or anything alike for ticket booking. I guess there must be some kind of batch running program which makes bulk booking. Any information?

you are absolutely right. but how the travel agents manage to book confirmed tatkal tickets for their clients? just by luck? and the lady luck always stay in their side? just don't know
