After a long wait, finally HWH (Howrah) DLS have come up with a deserving locomotive allocation for the NFR bound trains coming from South India. For some reasons unknown, NFR have never taken the responsibility of giving these trains (Which actually belong...
more... to them) the deserving Locomotive. And HWH DLS always gave them the step-son kind of treatment, giving these trains a single WDM- 3A (WDM- 3D sometimes) for 24- 25 coaches.
Finally, now HWH has finally decided to allot twin Locos for hauling these mammoth rakes for its upstream journeys. Seen here is 14128 and 14131 WDM- 3A Twins of HWH shed hauling the 24 coaches load of 12509 Bangalore City (SBC)- Guwahati (GHY) KAZIRANGA Tri-Weekly Superfast (Including 9 A.C. coaches) through Baruipara station on ER's HB Chord enroute, and overtaking a looped EMU in the process.
