Lovely snaps... IR is planning to make the HWH-DHN-NDLS Route free of all LC Gates so this one may also disappear after some years. Like GMO, track renewal work must take place at BWN & ASN also so that such trains like Shatabdis and Durontos can skip at their MPS with full force :-D
If I am not wrong, the route from Howrah to Saktigarh via Pandauh (Formerly Poonduah) is called Main Line and the other route via Dankuni is called Chord Line in ER :)
HWH - BWN has 5 Railway Tracks Parallel ! 2 in HBM (HWH - BWN via BDC which is set for ME and Pass Trains) and 3 in HBC (HWH-BWN via DKAE which is set only for High Speed Trains)
