Booked two berths in same Ticket - one is confirmed and other is WL 24 !! How this is possible?

PNVL-ERS & other internediate station to ERS: booked & gt in WL26!!
CAN-ERS booked bt 1 berth AVL!! (whch could be MAO-ERS even), bt NT PNVL-ERS or few station b4 CAN, as RL already in WL!!
Nw as quota is same across station to ERS (except PUNE), the first WL after any CNF berth will b issued next to existing RL waiting, whch currently is 26..hence booking will be:
