why express trains are given these much of stops in Kerala?. what is the difference between an express and a passenger?. what's the point in allotting stops for express trains at murukkumpuzha, mayyanad, munrothuruthu, kazhakkoottam, cheriyanad, mararikkulam, thrippoonithura, idappalli, mulanthuruthi, puthukkad, divine nagar, poonkunnam, kadalundi, thirunnavaya, feroke, vallikkunnu, payyoli, valapattanam, kannapuram, thrikkarippur, kottikkulam, uppala, bekal fort, ezhimala, kumbala?. Is there anybody to stop these non sense?. Hiring lots of money from passengers and hiking the charges every now and then and stopping at all local stations.

can't agree with you. most of these i have mentioned are local stations or close to some major stations. trains heading to major long distant locations like mangaluru, chennai, mumbai, bengaluru, delhi are allotted stops at these stations. memu and passenger trains should be used to reach such stations. most of these stops were allotted before 2014 elections to show as achievements by the m.p's. some trains like mangalore- tvpm express, malabar, venad parashuram, island can no longer be called any express. malabar "express" stops at all stations except kalanad in kasarkode district.
