This is the only train, that too weekly and a lone train running on this newly broad guage converted tracks. The trains runs only on wed. The frequency of this train may be made daily and extended upto Borivali / Bandra.
WR officials - Plz consider this demand of passengers and give their fair and just dues in the form of train travel. Right now look at the number of private buses which ply from Mahuva to Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat and Mumbai. The passengers from the places Mahuva, Talaja, Rajula, Savar Kundla, Diu, Una, Jafarabad, they all have to travel in these so called third class video coach push back luxuary buses which in no way can qualify...

to be called so as compared to luxuary buses which ply in other parts of the Country say Mumbai to Bangalore, Mangalore etc.
Atleast, the IR should see the amount spend on broad guaging the tracks. Why not put to use ? Inter-city train between Mahuva-Ahmedabad should also be considered. Also Coastal link express between Mahuva-Veraval may also be considered. As you are aware, due to heavy traffic on this route, There is a weekly sea Passenger Ferry - ship service between Mumbai - Jafrabad Port (40 kms from Mahuva).
May the attention be drawn of IR / WR officials to this route.
