I am shocked to hear that this Shatabdi was introduced in 1994.
How come railways thought to start such a service to a smaller Dehradun(Uttar Pradesh city in 1994).
Also, if anyone has any details about the train TT back then in 1994?

U cant say only a state capital justifies the need of shtbd then in u r veiw pune shtbd and mys shtbd doesnt justifies need of shtbd??? Its not only state capital should have shtbd it mostly depends on patarange than state capital
