Those are codes allotted to rakes for easy identification of ROROs just like train numbers for Passenger services. Goods trains have separate, more complicated codes.
I was much eager from many days to know the names and codes
Bcz like our passenger trains even in goods also has diff set of train codes...unfortunately they are less discussed here
